Sample textAutomated phrasing Automatically generated text is often very uniform in structure, which makes it read as detached impersonal. That is exactly what stands out to a reader.

Plenty of tools promise to write a whole essay in minutes. That tends to end with invented sources, smooth generalities and an academic integrity statement you can no longer sign honestly. Certentis comes in later: when your question, outline, reading and first draft exist, and some sections still sound stiff, tangled or suspiciously uniform.
Paste the paragraph that bothers you into Humanizer. It rewrites it in the same language, breaks up rigid sentence patterns and treats technical terms, direct quotations and citations like (Miller 2021, p. 14) as protected elements. Then read the original and the revision side by side and keep only what says exactly what you meant. That is the job of an academic humanizer: better writing, with the content still in your hands.
You wrote the paper yourself and want to check it once more before you submit: are all your sources properly cited, and where does the AI analysis flag something? Certentis reviews and revises your own text. It does not write a paper for you.
Check first which AI tools your institution allows and whether you have to disclose using them.
The plagiarism checker shows where your text overlaps with sources, so you can check your citations there yourself.
The AI detector flags sentences with signals so you can take a second look. That is not a verdict on your work.
Humanizer rewrites stiff passages in plainer language and takes care to keep quotations and technical terms intact. Still, compare the result with your original.
There is no single rule for every school. Universities, departments and often individual instructors set their own AI policy, and it can change from one assignment to the next. These four cases come up in most policies; what applies to you is in your syllabus, the assignment brief and your institution's academic integrity policy.
Your own text gets a language edit and the ideas stay yours. Some instructors still want a note saying which tool you used.
Where this is allowed, you usually have to state which tool you used, for what and where, for example in an AI-use statement at the end of the paper.
Handing in undisclosed AI text as your own work breaks most academic integrity policies. Schools usually treat it as misconduct, with consequences that can include failing the course.
Email your instructor before you use AI and keep the reply. A written yes protects you better than a guess.
As an AI humanizer for academic writing, it works on sentence structure, transitions and word choice. Content, citations and terminology are the standard every change has to meet.
Sentences with three clauses and a passive ending get split and reordered. The link between claim, evidence and conclusion stays the benchmark; the side-by-side view shows whether it holds.
Paragraphs from an AI draft often open the same way, repeat the same transitions and run to the same length. Humanizer varies rhythm and sentence openings so the section fits the rest of your paper.
Method terms, proper names, direct quotations, author-date citations and page numbers are treated as protected elements. In Certentis' internal benchmark of 28 July 2026 (ten citation-bearing source texts, blinded quality review), this kept every complete citation set byte for byte in 8 of 10 cases, at an overall quality score of 85.4 out of 100. Still check wording and placement against your original before you keep anything.
Any tool that rewrites text can shift a nuance. That is why every run has fixed limits, and the final check is yours.
Revise the paragraph that still stumbles on the third read, and check before you submit that every borrowed idea has a citation. It works as an essay humanizer without turning your argument into someone else's.
Keep terminology consistent across forty pages, smooth theory and discussion chapters section by section, and check the result against sources the plagiarism check can find.
Humanize research paper sections without touching data, units or hypotheses: the revision sharpens how question and result are presented, and the AI analysis shows where the prose still reads uniform.
Each step has its own tool. After each one, you decide what to keep.
Use a paragraph or a whole chapter: up to 300 words in the free trial, up to 3,000 words per run with an account. The language is detected and kept, so an English paper stays English.
Humanizer rewrites without adding facts. Read both versions side by side and keep only the sentences that say exactly what you meant.
Open HumanizerThe Certentis AI analysis gives probabilities for Human, Mixed and AI and highlights sentences that stand out. Treat that as a hint about where to rewrite in your own words, not as a verdict on your work.
Open the AI detectorThe plagiarism check compares your text with sources it can find and links every match to its source. For each one you decide: a direct quote in quotation marks, your own paraphrase with a citation, or cut it.
Open the plagiarism checkBenchmark run by Certentis on 28 July 2026, n = 10
On 28 July 2026, Certentis ran its own benchmark of ten source texts (n = 10) against six other humanizers. Certentis scored 85.4 out of 100 overall and 91.7 out of 100 for semantic fidelity. 8 of 10 citation sets survived word for word, against 0 to 6 of 10 for the other providers, and all 10 outputs stayed in the source language. Because Certentis ran and scored this test itself, both the results and the method are published in full.
That depends on your institution, often on the individual course. Some allow AI for language editing and only ask you to disclose it; others rule AI out for certain assignments entirely. Your syllabus, the assignment brief and your school's academic integrity policy decide. If none of them says anything, ask before you submit.
No detector gives a certain answer. AI detectors estimate how closely a whole document resembles AI-generated, mixed, or human text; they do not measure who typed it. Formal, formulaic academic prose can look statistically similar to AI output and produce false positives. In the Certentis AI analysis, Human, Mixed, and AI are document-level probabilities; values between 40 and 70 percent are a grey zone, and no score is proof of authorship. Schools use different tools, and Certentis cannot predict how they will judge your work. That is why Humanizer does not promise a particular score. Rely on what you can disclose, not on a number.
No. Someone else's idea needs a citation however you phrase it; a paraphrase without a source is still plagiarism. The plagiarism check shows you flagged passages next to their sources, which is a review signal, not a verdict. Whether a correctly cited quotation, a permissible paraphrase, common knowledge, or a missing citation is behind a match is your call, based on the source and your institution's rules.
