What is a Claude humanizer?

A Claude humanizer rewrites text that Claude drafted so it reads as if a person wrote it, with the same content in new sentences. The Certentis Humanizer does this for any Claude text in its original language, keeps citations intact and then measures the result with the Certentis AI analysis.

Claude drafts carry habits common to chatbot text, and readers learn to spot them. Wikipedia's guide to signs of AI writing lists contrasts like “It's not X, it's Y”, ideas lined up in threes, bold labels at the start of list items and chat phrases such as “Certainly!” or “I hope this helps”. No single sign proves anything, because people write this way too. Together they make a text sound like everyone else's Claude output.

Why “just ask Claude to sound human” falls short

Claude will change its draft if you ask. What a prompt cannot give you is a check from outside the model that wrote the text.

A separate rewrite

Asking Claude to sound more human lets the same model judge its own draft, with the habits that shaped it in the first place. The Certentis Humanizer rewrites the text in a separate step and adds no facts of its own.

  • Automatically detect and preserve the input language
  • Protect meaning, technical terms, and quotations
  • Compare original and rewritten text with Certentis scores

A measured result

Claude cannot tell you how its text fares in an AI analysis. The Certentis AI analysis reports how likely the rewrite is to read as Human, Mixed or AI. If a draft misses the target, the Humanizer writes another and reworks the sentences the analysis flags. If none gets there, you get the closest draft that passed every check, with its real scores.

Checks a prompt never runs

You can ask Claude to leave (Smith 2021, p. 14) or a DOI alone, and nothing checks whether it did. The Humanizer locks citations, links and footnote markers before it rewrites, keeps the length close to the original and puts both versions side by side.

Rules every rewrite follows

The Humanizer rewrites text you already have. The content, the sources and the final say stay with you, so check names, numbers and quotations before you use the result.

  • Keeps the original language and never translates
  • Leaves citations, links, DOIs and footnote markers untouched
  • Rewrites existing text and adds no new facts or sources
  • Shows the real scores, even when a draft misses the target

Essays and papers

Text you drafted with Claude's help for a term paper, a thesis chapter or a report. Author-year citations and DOIs stay as they are. Check your institution's rules on AI use before you submit.

Blog and marketing copy

Articles, newsletters, landing-page sections or an existing product description that Claude helped write. The Humanizer is told to keep product names and figures, and the claims remain yours to check.

Emails and LinkedIn posts

Messages to colleagues, clients or your network, where Claude's stock tone stands out to people who know how you write. After the rewrite, add one detail only you would know.

How to humanize Claude text in three steps

Paste the text, let the Humanizer rewrite and measure it, then edit what you keep. The final version is yours to approve.

  1. Paste your Claude text

Copy the text out of Claude and leave the chat around it behind, such as an opening “Certainly!” or a closing offer to help further. One run takes 100 to 30,000 characters and up to 3,000 words, or up to 300 words in the free trial without an account. The language is detected automatically.

  2. Rewrite and measure

The Humanizer restructures sentences, varies their rhythm and changes transitions. Citations, links and DOIs are locked before the rewrite. Quotations, numbers, names and technical terms are kept by instruction, so check them in the result. Then the Certentis AI analysis scores the original and the rewrite.

  3. Check and edit

Read both versions side by side with their scores and fix anything that sounds off. Then add an example or a phrase only you would use, because that is what makes the text yours.

Claude Humanizer: frequently asked questions

Does Claude have a built-in humanizer?

No. Anthropic does not offer a humanizer feature in Claude. What circulates as a Claude AI humanizer is a prompt or a community skill: written instructions that Claude follows while it rewrites its own text. Nothing in that setup measures the result or checks that citations survived. The Certentis Claude Humanizer rewrites in a separate step, keeps the language and citations, and shows real scores from the Certentis AI analysis.

Can I try the Claude Humanizer for free?

Yes. Without an account you can rewrite up to 300 words, once per device and network every 30 days. A free account adds 500 words of welcome credit for 7 days. After that, one word is one credit and one run takes up to 3,000 words.

Will the rewrite get my text past AI detectors?

No tool can promise that, and Certentis does not. AI detectors make mistakes and can flag text a person wrote. The Human, Mixed and AI values are probabilities for the whole document. They are not percentages of the text and not proof of who wrote it. If someone questions your work, drafts, notes and version history are the strongest evidence you have.

Is Certentis affiliated with Anthropic?

No. Certentis is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Anthropic. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic, and this page uses the name only to describe the texts the Humanizer works on. Certentis does not connect to your Claude account; you paste the text yourself.
