Automated phrasing Automatically generated text is often very uniform in structure, which makes it read as detached impersonal. That is exactly what stands out to a reader.

What does a text rewriter do?

A text rewriter says the same thing in new sentences: different structure, smoother transitions and better-fitting words, rather than swapping single words for synonyms. The Certentis Humanizer does that with any existing text, in the language it was written in.

Use it for your own rough draft that still stumbles on the third read, for a colleague's text that has to fit into your document, or for an AI draft that sounds stiff and samey. It is not a translator and does not write from bullet points: you supply the content, it rewrites it without adding facts, and a side-by-side view shows you what changed.

What changes in your text

The Humanizer works on sentence structure, transitions and word choice. What the original says is the measure for every change.

Clearer sentences

Long, nested sentences are split, repetitive openings are reordered and transitions are smoothed. The text reads more easily without a statement turning into a new claim.

  • Automatically detect and preserve the input language
  • Protect meaning, technical terms, and quotations
  • Compare original and rewritten text with Certentis scores

Better-fitting words

Repeated, stiff or formulaic phrasing is replaced in context. Technical terms, names and product names are protected, and the rewrite keeps the register of the original: formal stays formal, academic stays academic.

Control in the comparison

The original and the rewrite sit side by side. Check numbers, names, quotations and qualifications, and keep only what still says exactly what you meant.

Rewrite text without losing control of it

Automatic rewriting saves time but does not replace your final check. Look closely at names, numbers, quotations and statements with technical or legal weight.

  • Keep the original language and never translate
  • Protect quotations, citations, numbers and technical terms
  • Add no new facts, sources or examples
  • Show AI analysis values only as orientation

What you can rewrite

Your own drafts

Rough drafts of reports, articles, essays or theses that still read awkwardly. Citations such as (Smith 2021, p. 14) are treated as protected; check them against the original afterwards anyway.

Texts from your team

Documentation, reports, web copy or an existing product description that someone else wrote and that needs to read more clearly, without changing names, deadlines, numbers or the message.

AI drafts

If you want to rewrite AI text because it sounds stiff, repetitive or generic, the Humanizer varies rhythm and phrasing. An AI text rewriter changes the wording, not the responsibility: check facts and sources yourself.

Rewrite text in three steps

You supply the content, the Humanizer rewrites it, and what you keep is your decision.

  1. Paste your text

Paste a paragraph or a longer text: 100 to 30,000 characters and up to 3,000 words per run, or up to 300 words in the free trial without an account. The language is detected automatically; there is no target language to choose, because nothing is translated.

  2. Let it rewrite

The Humanizer restructures sentences, changes transitions and picks better-fitting words. It treats quotations, citations, numbers, names and technical terms as protected and adds no new facts.

  3. Compare and keep

Read the original and the rewrite side by side. Check the protected passages and any subject-specific nuance, and use the rewrite only once meaning and context are right.

Text rewriter: frequently asked questions

How do I rewrite a text?

Paste the text into the input field and start the rewrite. Each run takes 100 to 30,000 characters and up to 3,000 words; the free trial without an account takes up to 300 words. The Humanizer detects the language and writes in the same one. Then compare the original and the rewrite side by side and keep what fits.

Does my text have to come from AI?

No. You can rewrite any existing text: your own rough draft, a colleague's draft or an AI draft. The rewrite itself is produced by a language model, so treat it as a suggestion: the content, the sources and the decision about every change stay with you.

Does it keep the language, tone and meaning?

The language, yes: the Humanizer does not translate. The tone follows the original, so a formal text stays formal and an academic one stays academic. There is no setting for tone or length, and the rewrite stays roughly as long as the original. Meaning is the measure for every change, yet any automatic rewrite can shift nuance, so check technical, legal, medical or financial statements against the original.

What do the Human, Mixed and AI values mean?

After the rewrite, the Certentis AI analysis shows how likely the text is to belong to the classes Human, Mixed or AI. These are probabilities for the whole document, not percentages of the text and not proof of who wrote it. The Humanizer shows the values openly but promises no particular score, here or in any other detector.
